Does "The California Peel" replace other cosmetic procedures?
"The California Peel" is a stand-alone procedure, but many
practitioners use our Microdermabrasion System in conjunction with
laser and other procedures to enhance or improve the results.
How is the procedure performed?
A carefully controlled stream of aluminum oxide crystals are
directed onto the skin surface removing tiny particles of dead
lifeless skin which are then vacuumed away along with the
crystals...giving birth to the new vibrant skin below.
How long does "The California Peel" take?
A single procedure takes between 30 and 40 minutes and should be
repeated at intervals of 1 to 2 weeks depending on skin type and
condition. After the procedure you experience a slight blushing of
the skin which disappears within one or two hours. There is no worry
of down time because this is a non-invasive procedure. You are able
to return to your regular activities right away!
Will I see an improvement right away?
Many patients experience softer, smoother glowing skin after their
first treatment. The recommended treatment plan is between two and
twelve treatment, depending on the condition and type of your skin
and the results desired.
